Recreate your favourites from the McCain® Fryday Fanzone at home!

Serve up the smiles with a set of three sliders featuring two smash burgers and one Montreal-style smoked meat sandwich. All stacked between McCain® Smiles® for a playful, pre-game dish that’s guaranteed to earn cheers with every bite.

Ingredients

For Ground Beef Sliders

  • 4 McCain® Smiles®
  • 100g ground beef rolled into 2 balls
  • Sliced cheddar cheese; about ¼ of a slice per slider
  • 4 pickle slices
  • 2 Roma tomato slices
  • Drizzle of mayonnaise 

For Montreal-Style Smoked Meat Slider

  • 2 McCain® Smiles®
  • 10g cooked smoked meat
  • 1 tbsp sauerkraut
  • Drizzle of yellow mustard

How to make it

  1. Cook McCain® Smiles® as directed on the package.
  2. Roll ground beef into two balls slightly smaller than a golf ball for burger patties. Place ground beef in a non-stick or cast iron pan. After a minute, press the beef into a patty shape. Flip once and leave in pan until fully cooked.
  3. Cook smoked meat* per the instructions on the package.
  4. Top the two beef sliders with ¼ slice of cheese, pickles, mayo and tomatoes – or choose your own favorite toppings!
  5. Top the smoked meat slider with yellow mustard & sauerkraut, and enjoy.  

*Recipe works great with your favourite smoked meat from your local butcher. If preparing at home, for best results and food safety, always prepare smoked meat according to package instructions and ensure it is heated thoroughly before serving.
