Lattice-Cut Sliders
These mini sliders are a burger and fries all in one! They might look small, but they’re deliciously gratifying and can be served as lunch, dinner or the perfect party appetizer.

Ingredients
1 lb (500 g) ground beef
¼ cup (60 mL) bread crumbs
2 tbsp (30 mL) barbecue sauce
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp. (2 mL) pepper
¼ tsp (1 mL) salt
24 McCain® Spicy Lattice Cut Fries
3 slices Cheddar cheese, quartered
12 leaves Boston Bibb lettuce
12 slices plum tomato
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450˚F (230˚C). Gently mix together beef, bread crumbs, barbecue sauce, egg, garlic, pepper and salt. Divide the mixture into 12 portions; shape each portion into ½ -inch (1 cm) thick patties. Transfer to foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until meat is no longer pink inside. Top each mini burger with cheese; return to oven for 1 or 2 minutes or until melted.
- Meanwhile, prepare McCain® Spicy Lattice Cut Fries according to package directions.
- Sandwich each burger with lettuce and tomato between McCain® Spicy Lattice Cut Fries.
- Just add friends™
Tip: Serve with ketchup, mustard and relish.
Alternatively, grill burgers if desired.
