Pan Fried Cod With Superfries® Recipe
This Modifry™ is fresh from the sea! Imagine lightly salted pan fried cod with a delicious potato crust, topped with a delightful butter cream sauce. Chef Taylor Snyder at Crush Wine Bar in Toronto has certainly given fish and chips a whole new meaning.

Ingredients
Crust (4 portions): 3 tbsp butter 2 tbsp canola oil 2 cups chopped defrosted McCain® Superfries® Straight Cut 2 shallots sliced lengthwise 3 sprigs of thyme, picked Pinch of salt
4 pieces of cod or fish of choice or pork 1 bag (650g) McCain® Superfries® Straight Cut
Butter Sauce: 1 ½ oz wine OR table cream ¼ of a lemon ¼ cup of butter, cubed |
Directions
1. Pre-heat oven to 450°F and start preparing the crust. 2. Once oven is pre-heated, bake McCain® Superfries® Straight Cut according to package directions.
