Double-Dip Onion Rings

​Yes, double dipping is allowed! Dip one-half of a McCain® Onion Ring in the spicy sriracha and the other half in the cool sour cream for the perfect double-dip.

Ingredients

1 box (397 g) McCain® Onion Rings

Roasted Garlic & Chive Dip:

1 head garlic

1 tbsp (15 mL) olive oil

½ cup (125 mL) sour cream

2 tbsp (30 mL) chives

1 tbsp (15 mL) lemon juice

¼ tsp (1 mL) each salt and pepper

 

Sriracha Dip:

½ cup (125 mL) mayonnaise

1 tbsp (15 mL) sriracha hot sauce

1 tbsp (15 mL) lemon juice

1 clove garlic, minced

¼ tsp (1 mL) cumin powder

Directions

  1. Roasted Garlic & Chive Dip: Preheat oven to 425˚F (220˚C). Trim off top of garlic to expose cloves. Place on small square of foil and drizzle with oil; seal package. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until garlic is tender. Squeeze out roasted garlic into small bowl; mash with a fork. Let cool to room temperature. Stir in sour cream, chives, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  2. Meanwhile prepare McCain® Onion Rings according to package directions.
  3. Sriracha Dip: Stir together mayonnaise, hot sauce, lemon juice, garlic and cumin.
  4. Serve McCain® Onion Rings with dips
  5. Just add friends™

 

Tip: Substitute dill for chives for a dill sour cream dip.
