Black Pepper Fries With Lime Recipe

If you are feeling like it is a fiesta night this recipe is what you are looking for. Liven up the evening with these black pepper fries with lime. Simply add some ground pepper and a splash of lime-juice to McCain® Superfries Straight Cut and liven up the evening.

Servings: 4-6

Ingredients

1 bag (650g) of McCain® Superfries® Straight Cut

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 tsp coarse sea salt

1 tsp freshly ground pepper​

1 lime, zested and cut into wedges

1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated 

Directions

  1. Prepare McCain® Superfries® Straight Cut according to packa​ge directions. Remove from oven 3 to 5 minutes before fully cooked. 
  2. In a medium bowl toss Superfries with the olive oil, about a tsp of sea salt and ½ tsp of black pepper.
  3. Place Superfries back on the tray and put in the oven for the remaining 3 to 5 minutes or until golden colour. ​
  4. Once cooked, grind more pepper on top, squeeze juice from lime wedges, sprinkle with lime zest and parmesan cheese to taste! 
  5. Serve and enjoy!
