Mashed – Steam Ready Bag: |
1. Place unopened bag in microwave, THIS SIDE UP. Distribute potatoes evenly in bag and heat on high for 11 to 13 minutes. Since appliances vary, these cooking times are approximate. If potatoes are not cooked, return to microwave and cook until soft. (Bag inflates slowly during cooking and allows steam to escape). |

2. Let stand 2 minutes. Using oven mitts, REMOVE CAREFULLY, grasping top corners of bag. CUT top of bag and POUR potatoes into bowl. CAUTION: Contents will be hot. |

3. Add 2/3 cup (158 ml) milk and 2 Tbsp (30 ml) non-hydrogenated margarine, and mash to desire smoothness.
For smoother, creamier texture use a hand blender or mixer. Consider adding salt, fresh garlic, sour cream, or other seasonings. |
